Professionally

If you looked at my resume, you’d probably classify me as a “sales” person, but I consider myself more of a sales/media/marketing/educator hybrid.

In college, I studied English with aspirations of becoming a teacher.  I quickly changed course after I went to interview with the editor of my college newspaper. While I was waiting for my interview, I bumped into a friend of mine who happened to be the sales manager of the advertising department. After he assured me he could meet my 3 unit journalist internship requirement AND pay me a 15% commission on anything I sold, I told him I’d give it a shot.  I never looked back and spent the next two years of college meeting with local business owners, selling ads and writing ad copy. I loved it.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve held senior sales and marketing roles in technology, media and finance.  Now, I help marketing and sales professionals get more out of their demand generation and lead nurturing programs as VP, Sales of Spear Marketing Group, a B2B marketing agency . Personally

I’m just a guy who loves his family, does his best to make people laugh and really enjoys helping people.  I married my college sweetheart and we are blessed with four incredible kids.

When I’m not plugged into the internet, you can find me playing ball with my kids, visiting our big family (my wife and I have 4 siblings each; my kids have lots of uncles and aunties) or sneaking out for the occasional round of golf with my buddies. (Assuming my golf game actually deserves to be recognized as “golf.”)
